• Image of Anasazi Pottery Sherd Copper Wirewrapped Pendant

Anasazi pottery sherds can be found throughout the Four Corners area (Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona). The name “Anasazi” stands for “ancient ones”, the ancestors of the modern-day Hopi, Zuni and possibly Navajo tribes. The origin of the pottery can be estimated by looking at the color of the clay, construction techniques, and mineral and vegetable glazes. The sherds I have made into jewelry date back 600-1000 years.

Wrapped in solid copper wire.

3" X 1" approx.
