Charoite was discovered in Siberia in the 1940’s but didn’t really catch on until described in 1978. It’s named after the river Chara. It’s considered to be a rare mineral.

Mohave turquoise comes from Mojave, California. These beads have been dyed beautiful shades of purple.

Wrapped in 14 karat gold filled wire. 14 karat gold fill wire is durable, containing about 100 times more gold than gold plate. It is considered to be heirloom quality.
