Polychrome Anasazi Pottery Sherd 14 kt Gold Fill Pendant
$190.00
This is a big, bold pendant for when you are looking to make a statement.
Anasazi pottery sherds can be found throughout the Four Corners area (Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona). The name “Anasazi” stands for “ancient ones”, the ancestors of the modern-day Hopi, Zuni and possibly Navajo tribes. The origin of the pottery can be estimated by looking at the color of the clay, construction techniques, and mineral and vegetable glazes. The sherds I have made into jewelry date back 600-1000 years. Sourced from private land.
Comes with an 18" 14 karat gold fill rope chain (not pictured).
3 1/4" X 2" approx.
